Just When I Thought it was Safe

I thought it was over.  The days were longer; the sun more intense.  Scooter rides had been taken.  We had even spent hours sitting out on the deck with books, toys and crafts.  We had been a fond farewell to Winter and had welcomed Spring.  I thought it was safe to put away the snow pants.  And then . . .

Winter insisted upon one more dance.

I have to admit, the day after was a beautiful one.  And that snow?  The spring sun is already exerting its power.  Drip, drip, drip.

  1. We have snow in the forecast here this weekend:( The only positive thing is how fast spring snows melt. Beautiful photos!

  6. Yuk...I used to hate that when I lived there...you get in Spring mode and then "bam" more snow. But I agree the day after is always so melty and sunny...it will be here permanently soon and then scooter rides can be a daily thing! :-)

    Happy Weekend!

  7. Putting away the snow pants will always result in at least one more snow fall.

  10. winter certainly has a mind of its own! we can't wait for the storm clouds to pass and the ground to dry up so we can get outside again.
