I thought it was over. The days were longer; the sun more intense. Scooter rides had been taken. We had even spent hours sitting out on the deck with books, toys and crafts. We had been a fond farewell to Winter and had welcomed Spring. I thought it was safe to put away the snow pants. And then . . .
Winter insisted upon one more dance.
I have to admit, the day after was a beautiful one. And that snow? The spring sun is already exerting its power. Drip, drip, drip.
We have snow in the forecast here this weekend:( The only positive thing is how fast spring snows melt. Beautiful photos!

ReplyDeleteMust've been something global...summer's been having one last say here for the last couple of days too.
ReplyDeleteOh...I so hear you. Wrote about it myself. :) It won't last long...spring, she is a comin'. xo
ReplyDeletesun or snow, your photos are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYuk...I used to hate that when I lived there...you get in Spring mode and then "bam" more snow. But I agree the day after is always so melty and sunny...it will be here permanently soon and then scooter rides can be a daily thing! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Putting away the snow pants will always result in at least one more snow fall.
ReplyDeleteThat mother is a tease. (or something like that...)
ReplyDeleteHoping spring finds you soon.
Snow can be a real tease this time of year, can't it!? We have sun sun sun but it's COLD COLD COLD! I am ready for real breezes that last and last.
ReplyDeletewinter certainly has a mind of its own! we can't wait for the storm clouds to pass and the ground to dry up so we can get outside again.
