Weekend Crafting: Yet Another Covered Stone

Saturday afternoon found me crocheting a cover for another stone.  It really is quite addictive.

As I was crocheting this one, I wasn't sure it was actually going to work.  I was afraid it was going to be too "pooky", you know, not really fit smoothly around the curves of the stone.  But it really is quite amazing how the fabric just kind of melds around the stone as you begin shaping it.  Well, amazing to me anyways but I think  I am sometimes easily amused.

This new stone may soon be finding its way to Illinois.  Don't be surprised to find another one soon to take its place.  i really like how this one worked out.

This new stone reminds me of a sea anemone.  Or maybe a daisy.  What does it remind you of?
