Mike has been a bit under the weather this weekend. I hope I don't come across as sounding cold-hearted because he is sick. I recognize that. But there comes a point when you want to say, "Dude, it's just a cold." I'm not alone in this, right? Have others experienced the man cold?
I couldn't help but think of this British comedy skit from a few years ago. Take two minutes and watch it because you will giggle. Unless you're a man. I remember Mike not thinking it was nearly as funny as I did when we came across it a few years ago.
Oh dear!! :) When we have a man cold in the house, we banish him to the basement, so we don't catch it PLUS I would rather not lump-sit! Hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteTooooootally. Totally. Been there...right now in fact. Women are the fairer sex my hams.
ReplyDeleteuh, you are SO not alone.
ReplyDeleteOh that's a classic. Nick Frost is, frankly, a pin up of mine.
ReplyDeleteOff to peep at your wonderful soap.
oh my, that is so funny. I'm with you here, and I'll extend it to the flu. One time the girls had the stomach flu, then I got it and was miserable. Well, lo and behold David then got it. He actually thought he had it the worst and said to me, "I think it gets worse for each family member who gets it!" If he hadn't been so sick, and if I hadn't so recently been so sick, no telling what I might have done to him.
ReplyDeleteLol...totally with you on this one!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with men and colds....LOL!!
hahaha! thank you! i love this. yes, i have a husband who gets man-colds too. : ) totally get it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing! That was hilarious. My family just got through a round of winter colds, and thankfully it was mostly quick. My husband was a trooper this time, though he was really fading as we were in the nth hour of new-car shopping negotiations. Give your guy another decade of kid-cold contamination, and he'll have passed the man cold stage. :)
