There was a point this afternoon when I so wanted to sit down with my youngest and, over a glass of red wine, discuss what had gone wrong with the day. Instead we shared a pot of tea and the day suddenly got much better.
If you haven't already done so, read this post for a chance to win a bar of my hand made soap.
Glad to hear!!! Hope the rest of the day follows happily. :-)
ReplyDeleteTea is good for those times, even though I'm sorry those times exist in many ways. Growth, I suppose, is the good part. Nice you could chat outside.
ReplyDeleteI remember one time at the end of a long week when I was teaching and I finally understood why on earth people might go to a bar to launch into the weekend. There are weeks/days like that! For some reason the red wine comment took my brain back to that drive home when I had the thought. Funny how that works.
My youngest and I had a day like that this week. We both woke up cranky and took it out on each other, then I felt guilty all day while she was a school. Good news is she had forgotten it all by the time I saw her again. Your boy will only remember the time outside with mom.
ReplyDeleteI love take the time for drink a hot tea, also in summer...it's so relaxing!!!!
