Thinking of Her

I made this crocheted stone a couple of months ago for a friend.  I wanted to let her know I was thinking about her.  Unfortunately, a postal strike held this pretty little thing in limbo for awhile.

It is finally on its way to its new home.

Margie's pattern found here.

It was a rainy day the day I took photos of the stone.

  1. A beautiful gift! The rain didn't seem to dampen the color at all. I'm amazed you caught he drip falling in the last photo. . .

  3. my very first crochet covered stone looked strikingly similar! same color thread. my daughter snagged it and every once in a while i see it around her room. you've reminded me too - i've got some mail to send. no postal strikes to blame here - just one lazy mama.

  8. Hi Tara,

A very thoughtful and powerful sentiment. You really put a lot of creative flair! Weather can't weaken the personal symbolism you put together. Thank you for sharing this Tara!
